How have you dealt with having a miscarriage?  Did you wait or start trying straight away?

When i had mine I had other health problems to worry about.  Because of medical treatments I had to wait around 9 months

I had a miscarriage before every one of my kids, I wanted a baby, and was determined to have one, my Dr. told me to wait at least one menstral cycle to try to get pregnant again, however my last baby I got pregnant right after my miscarriage, and came out completly healthy. I believe I had my miscarriages for a reason, maybe they wouldn't have been healthy, they just weren't strong enough to make it through the first trimester. and I am very happy with the babies I have!

I thankfully havent had one! But I to agree w/mamomof3 that they happen for a reson. My grandma says back in her day(Shes 85) that they had ways of getting rid of babys they felt there where prbolems with. Not talking about going to a clinic or anything like that. I never asked I never wanted to know. I feel like they are gifts from God no matter what they are like! I love my baby too!

I had 9 miscarriages at different times in between the 3 kids I have.  Each one was just as heartbreaking.  After 2 kids and the 9 miscarriages we had no plans to have more kids. 7yrs later I thought I was going through the beginning of menopause (I am older) but to our surprise I was preggo again.  I was so convinced that I would have another miscarrage that I was in denial for 7MONTHS!  I kept saying it wouldn't last.  At 8months I finally said OK I guess we ARE having a baby.  He is now 2 yrs old and such a joy.  Hang in there..I will be praying for you.

i would agree with Mamaof3 there is a reason and nothing one can do about it.  I had one before I had Isolde.  Though I was sad me having a miscarriage pointed out health problems that I had, that I might have not been able to take care of if I was pregnant.  When it came down to it I was glad i never had to make a decision of my own health and treatment over a baby.
